This excursion will provide an insight in the events of Patriotic War of 1812 and European Campaigns of the Russian Army of 1813–1814. The visitors will see personal belongings of the Emperors Alexandre I and Napoleon I as well as of other commanders: weapons, apparel and travelling items; awards and decorations.
Special interest are items captured from the French within the period of expulsion of the Grand Armee from Russia.
The works of an outstanding battle scene painter Vasily Vereshchagin will help see and feel the atmosphere of that terrifying epoch.
